The Rock Project is an after school club for children aged 7 - 18 years to have fun and learn how to play Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums or to Sing in small groups weekly in term time and then come together and play as bands learning different songs each week. The Rock Project is a national franchise which has now arrived in Essex, and we in the Maldon area have schools running on Fridays at Danbury Village Hall on Main Road in Danbury, and now on Wednesdays at Ormiston Rivers Academy in Burnham-on-Crouch. Places do fill up quickly and it is recommended you ring to book a place. Each 2 hour session includes 1 hour of professional tuition in the instrument of your choice from a qualified and DBS checked tutor, and then 1 hour of fun, quizzes and what we call 'plug and play' where the students play the songs they have just learnt and where bands form.
